Marie Boyer (b. 1988) is an artist based in Lisbon. She grew up in an artistic environment and continued her journey in New Zealand, where discovering Māori culture sparked her interest in organic forms and symbolic patterns. After studying applied arts in France, she expanded her practice through several residencies in South Africa, Germany, and Portugal. Her work, driven by a true obsession with patterns, explores the resonances between the infinitely small and the vastness of the cosmos. Composed of abundant lines and textures, her pieces oscillate between microscopic visions and cosmic landscapes, like ever-expanding cartographies. She now divides her time between Lisbon and Paris.
