Aaron Fink is an American artist. He holds a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore and a MFA from Yale University. He works with a variety of mediums, including oil, prints, sculpture and works on paper.
In the early 1980s he was part of a group of artists associated with a new wave of Boston Expressionism. His paintings often depict real-life objects imbued with enhanced color and contrast for a super-lifelike effect.
He was an artist in residence at Anderson Ranch in Colorado, he received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and was awarded an Artist Fellowship from the Massachusetts Council on the Arts and Humanities. He was also an Alternate in Painting for the Prix de Rome.
His works are represented at several museums and international collections, among others the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art, United States Department of State, New York Public Library, Danish House of Parliament and Art Institute of Chicago.
