Laura Astrup Larsen (b. 1996, Copenhagen, Denmark) is an artist and designer based between Stockholm and Copenhagen. In her artistic practice, she combines her background in design with the craftsmanship of glass and ceramics. Driven by curiosity, Laura explores playful combinations of materials and processes. In a world increasingly shaped by digital interactions, Laura seeks to reconnect us with materiality. Through colour, textured surfaces, and soft, tactile forms, she creates highly sensorial objects that invite viewers to engage through touch, perception, and curiosity. Although ceramics is her primary medium, she frequently integrates other materials in dynamic and playful ways. Laura holds a Master's degree in CRAFT! Ceramics and Glass from Konstfack University (2024). She also has a background in design, graduating in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Design School Kolding (Denmark) and Willem de Kooning Academy (The Netherlands). Laura has presented her work in both solo and group exhibitions across Denmark and Sweden. Recent solo exhibitions include Soft Construction, Kvadrat Showroom, Stockholm (2026); Hudsult, Officinet – Nye Talenter, Copenhagen (2026); and Kaleido, Uppsala (2025). Recent group exhibitions include SUMMERTIME ’26 – The Annual Group Show, Galleri Christoffer Egelund, Copenhagen (2026); X-mas 2025, Galleri Christoffer Egelund, Copenhagen (2025); Mellan Uttryck och Identitet, Indicum, Uppsala (2024); Over and Over and Over, Konstfack, Stockholm (2024); Longing For Touch, Blås & Knåda, Stockholm (2024); På Tapeten during Stockholm Craft Week (2024); Affordable Art Fair with Galleri Duerr, Stockholm (2024); and Take Away, Galleri Duerr, Stockholm (2024).
